CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois football is coming off a 7-5 season that witnessed the Panthers making the FCS playoffs for the 16th time in school history.** Season ticket renewals and sales for an exciting 2016 season are now underway.* Fans can renew or purchase new season ticket packages by calling 217-581-2106 or online at*www.eiupanthertickets.com*** The Panthers will host five home games at O'Brien Field this season.*Season ticket packages are $75 per person which is a reserved seat at O'Brien Field.** EIU faculty & staff receive a discounted season ticket rate of $65 per person.** Youth & High School season tickets are $35 per person.** Children ages K-to-6th grade can join the Panther Pack Kid's Club for $25 which includes tickets to games along with other incentives.***The home opener will be Thursday, Sept. 1 as the Panthers will host in-state rival Western Illinois under the lights at 6 p.m.***Austin Peay comes to O'Brien Field for Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 24 with a 1 p.m. start time.*EIU will induct the members of the 2016 EIU Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 8 as the Panthers host Tennessee State.* The game will kick at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a fireworks show.*The Panthers homecoming opponent this year is Murray State with a 1 p.m. kickoff against the Racers on Saturday, Oct. 22.*This year's EIU Senior Day game will be on Saturday, Nov. 5 as the Panthers host UT Martin at 1 p.m.*EIU will play six road games with non-conference games at FBS member Miami of Ohio and Illinois State.** Road OVC contests will take the Panthers to Southeast Missouri, Tennessee Tech, Jacksonville State and Eastern Kentucky.* Tickets for road games can be purchased through the EIU Ticket Office by calling 217-581-2106.**Ticket PricingSeason Tickets - $75 per personFaculty/Staff Season Ticket - $65 per personYouth/HS Season Ticket - $35 per personPanther Pack Kid's Club (K-6) - $25 per person*Single game tickets will be on sale starting August 1.** Group ticket discounts are available and should be made by calling 217-581-2106.**
