Looks to me like a close game by the stats. We have better rushing yds & ppg but we kill ourselves with the turnovers. :nonono2:

Great stuff to prepare for the game...both for a coach and fan. Thank goodness they play the game and don't let stats decide the winner. I agree with the educated fans from both sides...this one will be great, and most likely too close to call right now.

Having said that.... GO UMass

Higher number means tougher schedule.

I truely think if App wins the turnovers, we should win. But us not fumbling could take a small early Christmas miracle.

What'd we fumble last week? One or two?

2...one by KR, one muffed punt by Dex. That was a bad mistake...hopefully, he's learned from it.

In the playoffs, our D has saved our butts on a few TO's in our territory. We can't count on them forever, though.

I think we've proven we can survive a couple turnovers. I would think if we loose more than 2 then we'll be in real trouble.

Look at last years Championship game, we had 3 1st half turnovers and hung in there to win...If it wasn't for our defense we wouldn't have won.

I totally agree about the educated fan thing....Reading the other thread it seems that both schools have fans that want to discredit the other team, where real 'educated' fans understand that both teams deserve this honor but only one will get it. Good posts so far...please don't spoil this with stupid posts.

That punt clearly went out of bounds! But yes we will have to eliminate the turnovers but where on the field, if they occur, will be huge. Last year the defense stepped up after the early turnovers on our side of the field and held UNI to field goals. Without those stops we don't win!
