How did they overlook Harvard's Clifton Dawson at RB? Not on any of the top three teams? Ridiculous. Yale's McLeod, who had an even better year, got slighted too.:nonono2: : smh : xidiotx

Agreed. To go three deep and not have Dawson is not an oversight, it's incompetence.

I agree, I'd take him over Pierre Rembert . . and Hairston is a great back but he isn't the best one in Connecticut, with McLeod at Yale.

Truly pathetic

I can understand Santos being maybe 2nd team, totally crazy if he was 3rd team... BUT NOT EVEN LISTED?

Josh Johnson, sure he had some nice stats BUT LOOK AT THE TEAMS HE PLAYED!

Tyler Thigpen had good stats and actually played some decent teams same with Jason Murrieth.

**not smacking**Look at his stats compared to the 3 QB's ahead of him Panther.

Thigpen: 3,296 pass yards, 656 rushing yards, 5 rushing TDs 167.432 QB rating 29/11 td/int

Murrietta: 2,827 pass yards, 45 rushing yards, 1 rush td, 168.2881 QB rating, 34/5 td/int

Johnson: 3,320 pass yards, 720 rushing yards, 11 rush TDs, 169.0243 QB rating, 34/5 td/int

Santos: 3,125 pass yards, 476 rushing yards, 12 TDs, 147.5 QB rating, 29/7 td/ing

My argument would be to put Santos in at 2nd or 3rd and take Murrietta out. 45 rushing yards? 1 rushing td?

You need to take into account the level of opposition. Johnson should be below the other 3. I wont argue against the other 2 guys though, they had solid seasons against tougher competition then Johnson.

I think Fairooz might get drafted. It would shock me to see Ford over guys like Murphy, Murrell, Edgar Jones, etc.

Ap State oline is good , but 2 on 1st team oline?? wow

Both are blocking trophy winners and both have been 1st team All-SoCon last two years. One is gonna get drafted and the other has been a leader on that OL since his true freshman year. Tough to leave one of them off but also tough to leave some of those 2nd team guys off.

Isenhour has to get on because he was there last year, or that is what the media says if the player comes back and has a good year. Brown had the better year this season so you know he should get on too.

Coastal Carolina was good but 4 All-Americans? Not sure I agree with that.

Kevin Richardson on the 3rd team is about right. How do you leave off Clifton Dawson or put KR ahead of Whitlock, Mason, Rembert, etc.?

Tough decisions. I don't think anyone could put together a team that everyone would totally agree with. :twocents:

i dont like the murphy choice, he was overshadowed by that other good DE they had who flat outplayed him during the season....

I would have to echo that sentiment exactly. Looks like they were more interested in "spreading around the wealth" as opposed to picking the best.

As regards UNH, not listing Tucker Peterson (OG) is an oversight. But, what is obviously nuts is not having Ricky Santos appear anywhere after having been named #1 on other AA teams already out. And, as he is guaranteed to finish 1, 2, or 3 in the WP Award announcements due out this week, then the AP teams will look really foolish.

Ask any coach and Murphy is the best player on the Montana line. Who do you think UMass was focusing its attention on and scheming last Friday? Murphy drew most of the double teams all year, which freed up Biermann to make more plays. Also, Biermann didn't play every down. He split time on the line with Dloughy. In my book, Murphy was the best player on a very good Montana defense.
