I wouldn't have because of how bad the defense. The WR's aren't as good as the last two years and the defense like, Lehigh's, keeps getting worse.....

Yeah, that's probably a bit of a stretch (about FU plateauing). I think in 3 years (if Moorhead is still around) we'll look back at this year's version as the worst of them all

Fordham was not the same caliber team this year as they were in 2013 or 2014 -- Moorhead did a fine job replacing essentially the whole team minus Edmonds and still finding a way to earn their second at-large NCAA berth in three years. A lot of freshmen contributing on this squad. They will be a solid team again next year but need the D to improve.

I have seen that happen too often this year. Our TE did the same thing at Colgate in the final drive. Just fell down at the 5 yard line with no one around. At the time, we weren't upset as we figured we'd have not trouble scoring. Ha. Nothing is guaranteed. What's wrong with Edmonds?

Fordham had its moments, but I think a North Dakota or Towson is more deserving & would have been more competitive.

I saw Fordham early & thought they were pretty good, but as the season kept on their margin of victories over weak PL teams & losing the title was telling. I found it hard to put them in Top 20 like Harvard & other top Ivy schools.

The PL should rarely have more than the AQ make the dance.

With the exception of arguably one of the worst FBS football team (Army), a disappointing CAA team (Villanova), and a middling Big South team (Monmouth) they play 8 Ivy/Patriot League schools.

They didn't win PL which is a step above non- scholarship Pioneer & Ivy. Can't see how any of those 3 (2 as Ivy self imposed exile) conferences should have anymore than the conference AQ. What are the records of PL & PFL teams the past 10 seasons in the playoffs? I know Colgate made a run awhile back, but most seasons it is 1 & done.

Not trying to be hurtful, but 9-2 is not better than 7-4 in this case. It is who you beat to get to 9 wins not getting to the number itself.

That said this season their resume got them in. Congrats.

Fordham has the 3rd lowest strength of schedule and 2nd lowest Sagarin rating of the at large teams. Sagarin has over 30 FCS schools above Army, not that great of a win. Today's game confirms everything. I'm not just picking on the PL, there's multiple undeserving teams in.

The PL has won a playoff game every year since 2010, except 2012. It's not exemplary, but better than many conferences.

I am embarrassed that we only had 4888 in attendance. I know that it is the weekend after Thanksgiving and the students are gone, etc, etc, etc, but the city of Chattanooga should be ashamed of themselves for not getting out and supporting the Mocs.

The visitors side was a complete ghost town with the students gone and Fordham not bringing a ton of fans (It is a long trip on short notice), but I feel like we should have had AT LEAST 8K there if not 10K.

Average attendance of the 8 games played today was just over 5,600. Montana (which basically sells out every game had about 40% of their stadium empty). It was disappointing, but it is what it is. The folks that were there were loud and into the game. I'd rather have 5,000 enthusiastic people than 10,000 people sitting on their hands and complaining when someone stands up to cheer. ;)

A few may have and most were probably not PL people. I had them out of my poll from their Lehigh showing and Colgate loss until the last week, when most of the bottom 5 were undeserving.

Few if any PL fans argued this league was strong this year and I argued that this team was much like the LU 10-1 team.
