Nice to see Vad Lee recognized as OPY and 1st team QB even though he was injured for almost half of the conference season. It's also telling about just how dominant he was when he was in there.

probably the best offensive player I've ever seen at JMU.

probably the best offensive player I've ever seen at JMU.

Best I have seen and that says a lot with guys like Rodney Landers and others who have come through.

I really like JMU's Deane Cheatam. (2nd team) Fantastic all around college player. Although listed as a TE, Withers has used him this year as a sort of unique fullback /slot receiver as well. I think he's returned a couple kicks too.

Villanova's LB, Don Cherry(1st Team) carried the ball a few times on short yardage situations last Saturday and scored a rushing touchdown. I don't know if he has done it earlier in the season, but it's fun to watch Coaches use great athletes in other roles.

Victor Ochi has a season's worth of sacks against UNH in the last two season's match-ups. I don't know how well he did against other teams, but he's a force against us.

How does freshman Micah Wright get selected to the CAA Second Team but is not one of the Co-Rookies of the Year???

The deal with the tight ends really is bizarre. Holloway is a really promising player and a good blocker but I don't think he caught more than a dozen balls this year.

LOL --- sounds like UD fans are mystified as to the lack of use of their TE's also

In fairness to the UD tight ends, it's not like they used their backs or receivers in the passing game either.
