I wouldn't say that. Anyones that watched the other App playoff games knows that App did this in the other two games. CCU and MSU both made it interesting at some point. I wouldn't change the channel anytime soon.

Same impression I had while watching App State play Montana State last week. Looks to me like the Mountaineers have the best overall athleticism among the playoff teams I've seen play (McNeese, Montana, Montana State, JMU, UMass, YSU, SIU, Furman, App State).

It's hard to tell just by watching so I could be wrong, but UMass did not look to me to be an exceptionally fast team while I was watching them against Montana. I thought they looked very strong on the line of scrimmage both ways, had a very good quarterback in terms of finding open receivers and getting it to them quickly and accurately most of the time, and running backs that broke tackles...but not a team where you watch them and think they have a lot of really fast guys for their positions.

Believe me, I think they're very good. I said in another thread that they look like the most complete team to me. By that I mean offense, defense, quarterback, running backs, special teams, all looked good. No glaring weaknesses I thought except the quarterback maybe had some problems when Montana got quick pressure on him. I'm just saying speed wasn't one of the things that jumped out to me.

This is true. Only 2 losses (I think). YOu would not be in this game if you were not any good. YSU is just not clicking, this is the last home game for APP. Just not your 1st half.
