William & Mary 24, New Hampshire 17 - A win here could get New Hamphsire back on track for possible hopes for a playoff bid. However, even though they have been playing better lately William & Mary's defense will make this a really tough matchup on the road.

Richmond 31, Rhode Island 14 - No idea what happened to Delaware last week, but it does not change my expectation that Richmond handles it business in this road matchup.

James Madison 48, Elon 20 - JMU will be a little sloppy in this one looking forward to a big two weeks coming up. However, I think they still handle Elon fairly easily.

Yale 24, Maine 20 - Yale got blown out by Dartmouth on the road 35-3 last week, but I still expect them to have enough talent to pull out a close one against Maine.

Villanova 20, Albany 17 - Two teams that seem to be in a free-fall right now. I will go with Villanova to pull out a close game.

Stony Brook 27, Towson 20 - This is bad matchup for Towson because Victor and the running game are Towson's bread and butter and Stony Brook's defense is very difficult to run on. I would give Towson a chance to win this game at home, but I think Stony Brook is probably the better team right now. Towson is desperate and they have a enough talent to stay in this game, but they are just not really clicking right now.

Amazed that no one except MaineJeff has Towson considering the loss of Bedell for the year for the Seawolves. That game is the hardest for me to call.

But I'm biased.

We really only have lost to one team we shouldn't have. We aren't National Contenders this year, but not completely horrible.

I think it'll be close and the game will be decided in the late fourth quarter.

I would agree with this, my only worry their run defense is pretty good and we need to get a big game out of Victor to win this game. Even the game two years (when we went to the national title game), we had to overcome dumb mistakes and it took us a while to get running game going. Last year, we could not do to much against their defense in the second half and Connor made some key mistakes. I know we need to have a good defensive effort, a solid game out of Connor (to keep the defense honest), a good game out of Victor and o-line running the ball and limit our mistakes. That seems like a lot. Hopefully, Towson can have its first complete effort of the season.
