First week of conference/OOC play mixins.

Penn at Villanova (Friday) - no Robertson, no problem? 'Nova can still beat cellar-dwellers like the Quackers.
Georgetown at Columbia
Cornell at Yale
Lehigh at Princeton
Sacred Heart at Dartmouth - SH had bad loss to Marist (possible PFL rep to the Road to Frisco)
Brown at Harvard

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but Dayton is the PFL team to beat this year. Marist will be lucky to go .500 in PFL games this year. Young team.

Hard go argue with you after your sweep of yesterday's games.

But I'll go with Georgetown over Columbia. The Lions are still a bunch of drug-addicted losers. :)

I would be surprised if Yale, Harvard, Princeton, or Dartmouth covered those spreads.

Agreed. Princeton looked very good last week, but hard to tell how good they are as Lafayette did not seem to show up. This could be track meet type of game. Lehigh's defense is banged up, but the last twenty years between the two schools have been strongly weighted toward Lehigh, though the games are usually pretty competitive. Last time in Old Nassau, Princeton led 22-3 at the half before Lehigh stormed back and won 29-28.

Final Scores:
Penn 24, Villanova 13 - can one say that Villanova is very weak by now?
Georgetown 24, Columbia 16 - when will Columbia finally get a W? Will ETSU get ahead of them in getting that elusive W?
Yale 33, Cornell 26

In progress:
Lehigh at Princeton

Yet to play:
Brown at Harvard
Sacred Heart at Dartmouth

Dartmouth v. Sacred Heart and Harvard v. Brown may play with running clocks in the second half.

Both games are complete blowouts.

They should with that offense. However, championships are won with defense, and Lehigh moved very well against them (almost 600 yards). Turnovers and penalties made the score more unbalanced. Tigers have a very explosive O that will cause anyone fits. Very uptempo with a lot of moving parts. Was very interesting to watch. I have not seen HC, DC, or Yale (yet), but I would think Princeton should be in the discussion.

They should with that offense. .

Princeton visits Hanover in November and they've already shown that their offense doesn't work in snowstorms. :)
