FARGO, N.D.--North Dakota State University is getting a jump on the 2006 football schedule as Director of Athletics Gene Taylor announced NDSU and Northeastern University have agreed to play Sept. 9, 2006, at the Fargodome

The rumor is it is a one-time shot, which considering NU's drawing "ability" wouldn't be all that surprising

The NDSU kids would get a kick out of playing in the Boston area, but Parsons Field ain't no Rose Garden.

Made my reservations yesterday. Can't wait!!! :hurray:
I believe NU is heading to the 'boro next year for the return game, so I'm pretty sure there is probably a return date for the NU/NDSU match-up as well.

Whatchya mean? Boston? We done been to Wash-Griz there then. Did I mention that we won? (25-24 BTW, and that makes the Bison 3-0 vs Griz). :dizzy:

It's not a question of winning or losing, bison. It's a question of playing on a lousy field!! Parsons is terrible.

maybe/maybe not in 01 NDSU had a one game deal set up with Maine in Fargo which was cancelled since it was the week after 9/11. Would love a trip to Boston though :)

Parsons is a crappy stadium if you would call it that , but the field is brand new astro-play. Looking forward to the GSU game.

Can't wait to go to Fargo.

I've been to 47 of the 50 states, and NDak is one of the three remaining (Alaska and New Mexico are the others). I've already told the wife that I'm going....

NU is going to the 'boro next year... looks like a fun road trip season!!!

the game is a one year deal with NDSU paying NU 70k, with the possibility that NDSU plays in Boston at a later date, according to the article NDSU will also play at Stephen F Austin in 06
