For every 10-1 UMass there is a Lafayette at 6-5. Seriously, 6-5? That isn't a playoff team.

To say Lafayette wasn't worthy is an ignorant statement when Furman got beat worse to an unseeded team.

Wasn't a PL team in the finals just a few years ago.

Thx Owl...We were in it until that late third qtr Adair fumble deep in our turf and then they scored on the ensuing drive to make it 28-14. Defense was able to tee off after that.

I think it's best if we just ignore all these Anti-Patriot League threads by these conferencist.
Every year there are a lot of conferencism on this board at playoff time.

One thing people fail to look at is who the PL is playing in the playoffs. The track record is very good if your team plays the PL team in the playoffs.

'98 Lehigh loses by 6 to National Champ Umass, Colgate loses to national runner up GSU
2000- Lehigh loses to a loaded #3 UD team
2001- Lehigh lost to national runner-up Furman
2003 Colgate loses in title game
2004- Lehigh loses by 1 to national champ JMU
2005- Lafayette battles national champ App State in Boone
2006- time will tell what happens to Umass
