Nice pics. Glad that the playing field is green with only end end zones blue.

Looks great.

What's up with all the ag schools using artificial turf?

I am sure its not politically correct to have a grass stadium in California these days with the drought and all. Plus the stadium gets quite a bit of use (see the terrible lacrosse lines).

I miss having grass. The old stadium (Toomey Field) had it.

At least the end zone berms are real grass.

Nice. I want Estes Stadium to look like that. Green field and seating configuration and all. Well done Aggs!

Pleasantly surprised to see that it isn't some tasteless colored garbage. Looks great! Hope to get down there for a game some day.

I am so glad the field isn't gold or something stupid. Aggie Stadium is a great place to watch a game.

That is hot. I'd be proud to go watch football at that stadium every Saturday in the fall.

Now if we we could just get back to playing "with" NDSU that'd be fantastic! You guys left us in the dust after the Great West Conference (remember that!?).

Seems so long ago now.

Speaking of hot - it is at least ten degrees hotter than the old stadium with real grass. But still, it's very nice. Just needs a second level with the butts to fill the seats.

Dang that is a nice looking field and stadium!

I actually saw a game at the old stadium... looked like the Mandan (ND) Rodeo stands, but UC Davis absolutely destroyed my Bison that day.

And, holy cow, if it's hotter than the game I saw... yikes.

The old stadium (Toomey Field) was a glorified high school stadium but it had a special mystique. It was hard for a visiting team to get a win there. It's much easier at the new Aggie Stadium but that may have something to do with tougher competition. We always enjoyed playing NDSU in the D2 days.

Man that was only 10 years ago now! Crazy to think about...
