APR scores, which the NCAA has calculated for the last 11 years, measure the classroom performance of a team over a four-year period. This year's FCS ADA winners were based on the 2013-14 school year.
In addition to Coastal Carolina, the winners were

UC Davis (Big Sky Conference)
Elon (Colonial Athletic Association)
Dartmouth (Ivy League)
Delaware State (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference)
Illinois State (Missouri Valley Conference)
Bryant (Northeast Conference)
Tennessee Tech (Ohio Valley Conference)
Holy Cross and Georgetown (Patriot League)
Dayton (Pioneer Football League)
Wofford (Southern Conference)
McNeese State (Southland Conference)
Jackson State (Southwestern Athletic Conference)

The FCS ADA also recognized an institution in each conference that improved the most from the previous school year. The winners were:
Portland (Big Sky)
Presbyterian (Big South)
Towson (CAA)
Princeton (Ivy)
Bethune-Cookman (MEAC)
Southern Illinois (Missouri Valley)
Saint Francis (NEC), UT Martin (OVC)
Fordham (Patriot), Morehead State (Pioneer)
VMI (Southern)
Central Arkansas (Southland)
Alcorn State (SWAC).

NCAA just announced this years winners (4 years ending 2015-16). So to coincide with our 3 straight playoff bids, we have now won the MVFC's Top APR award 3 years in a row as well: https://web3.ncaa.org/aprsearch/aprsearch

Contrary to some posters opinions here ... this is the reality of Spack's football program .. disciplined and successful both on the field and in the class room. We were at 939 in Spack's first year (2009-10) at ISU. We've climbed every year before winning top award in 2013-14 and 3 years in row now.

MoST has made a very nice climb the last 3 years .. last to 2nd.

Here are this years 2015-16 results:

Looks like ranking-wise, we've moved down a little: 6th->8th->7th
Although actual score-wise, we're heading up, which is nice to see: 947->949->952

Seeing as how you can't do anything about other schools' scores, your guys are doing fine if their scores are improving.

Just announced .. good news and not-as-good news for ISUr

ISUr returned to high water mark set 3 years ago at 972, but our 3 year reign as MVFC APR champs is over.

Despite matching our previous high, we fell to 3rd place this year. In 2013-14, we were also 972 and finished in 1st place by 10 points over UNI and by 17 points over 3rd place SDSU. Or put another way, SDSU was 955 in 2013-14 and finished 3rd .. improved to 958 this year yet fell to 8th place in MVFC ??? MVFC has improved considerably since 2013-14 .. so cudos to the best football conference in FCS !!

Here is how MVFC teams finished:
