80. It will be known to some Bison fans as "The Run". NDSU's season opener last year at Iowa State couldn't have started any worse, as the Cyclones raced out to a 14-0 in the 2nd quarter. The Bison seemed to be nervous and shaky, taking a couple of false start penalties and couldn't keep the offense on the field. The momentum of the game changed though right after ISU kicked the ball off as on the very next play, John Crockett burst thru a seam to score a brilliant 80 yard touchdown run and from there NDSU didn't look back. That play was one of the biggest of the season for NDSU and if that doesn't happen, who knows how that game for the Bison.
