88. 88% was significant last year for NDSU as that represented the percentage of red zone scores for the Bison in 2014. NDSU was 61 out of 69 inside the red zone (inside the 20 yard line) with 42 of those scores being touchdowns. That area of the field was a trouble spot early last year as NDSU had a hard time inside the 20, specifically the Montana and Western Illinois games. In the game against the Griz last year, the Bison kicked five field goals, only scoring one touchdown. As the year went along, Carson Wentz found other options inside the red zone, specifially Lucas Albers (who coincidentally wears 88 as well) to help NDSU get better inside the 20. 88 percent is a high number, but I know the Bison coaching staff would like to see more touchdowns in 2015 than what they prodcued last season.
