Yeah San Diego at #10, keep dreaming about these silly computer rankings that average all the rankings. There are two that really count, the coaches poll and the writers poll. Then the fan poll in 3rd. Everything else is really inaccurate. So you average the 3 good polls with all the silly inaccurate computer crap and it can look pretty odd.

Just as there are arguments against the computers, there are arguments against the human polls. I think the GPI is probably the best system we currently have to compare/rank teams.

Polls will always be flawed. That's why the CS chooses its Champ on the field.

GO YOUNGSTOWN!

got me(though many would say ASU is in the south since many divide the country north south east west)

Yeah San Diego at #10, keep dreaming about these silly computer rankings that average all the rankings...Even Massey calls his comparison page the "dirty laundry list" of rankings. That's why the GPI selects only eight to use every year with the polls.

Oh well..

I saw NDSU and ASU both against a common opponent in person this year and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that NDSU is at least 10 points better than ASU. This is not meant to say that ASU is not good or title worthy but to say that in my mind NDSU would be the team to beat if they were allowed to participate.
