by my count, it's 115 days until the kick off of football..... is my count correct for the 100 day countdown?

It's 108 days until the Montana/NDSU FCS kickoff game on ESPN. First college football game of the season! :D

Trudat, but for this countdown and the general talk the date is one week later traditionally. The few early games are ignored.

I know I bring this up every year, but the countdown should end with Sept 4th being day 1. That means there is one day left until the first Saturday of the season.

Every damn year it's set so that "1" is on that Saturday. That's not the right damn count. Things don't go on "1" they go on damn "0". The count down to New Years doesn't have 12:00:00 as the 1 second on the ball drop. If we are doing the 99 day count down the first day is May 29th. That will make Day 99 (or the day we post all the #1s on the roster) September 4th - which is the correct day. If we are starting May 28th we better be starting with 100


Can we please get the damn thing right this year?

"1" should definitely be on Friday I agree but you don't gotta be a dick about it man. We could just have a rational discussion on the matter couldn't we?

It is handled by Tribe when the day comes. There are plenty of ways he suggests someone can utilize the 100 number and I believe your suggestion is one of the ways to do it.

That's the beauty of the countdown. Around here we use it as our tether to the season so we're better off. xlolx

It might have do with how/where people think "zero" day falls.

Yes, it depends on the school when the 100 days will start.

Tomorrow morning (EDT), we will start the countdown with the coaches and the rules for doing the countdown.
