He wasn't getting past pick 75-80 range. Good pick. He is the best FCS prospect in the eyes of teams by far. David Johnson should be next. If not, he will be some point in 3rd or early 4th.

I think many expected that. The difference in Samford and Auburn is that Samford won't have another draft pick probably, maybe the punter, but Auburn will have at least 2 or 3 more. Still a great feat because this should never happen.

Not trying to be a buzzkill because it is still a very impressive thing to happen for Samford. Just saying that big school don't typically worry about the one miss because they will have about 5 more hits in rounds 4-7 plus several PFAs who sign.

My point was that many could have predicted Tartt in the 2nd round. Not a huge reach.
