At least you get to end it with a two cupcakes. UC Davis and UND haven't been very strong in recent years. The rest of the schedule looks like a hell of a ride, though.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cal Poly and NDSU do a home and home in the near future.

5 of the first 7 on the road including:
FBS
Likely preseason #1 and 2 on the road in back to back weeks
3 other top 10-15 games @ SDSU, @ Cal Poly and vs EWU
Oh..WIU has the talent to be a top 20-25 team at that point.

So...the first 7 games could see 5 road games, an FBS and 6 ranked FCS schools.

Please beat Virginia. The most annoying fan base I've ever come across, and that includes me living in Austin for a year and dealing with UT fans.

Yeah. When an FBS and a top 20 caliber team are your cupcakes you've got it tough.

UNI's basketball schedule next year is worse than that. Maybe I'll post that here today.

Interesting to look at. I think UCAs schedule will be tough for UCA..but maybe not for some teams. First four weeks on the road, minus the off week of course. Then after Ho. Bap. its the tough games are at home but even that's no W.

UNIs schedule is also a perfect example of how broken the MVFC scheduling is because the eastern schools refuse to travel west.

ISUr, NDSU and SDSU all on the road (or home) in the same year is ridiculous on every single level: competitive balance, ticket sales lost in even years because there is no marquee games anymore now that SIU is dog****, etc... All because UNI is the central most school (though WIU might me closer to the Geo mid point...never measured)

I think you're ****ed. I think UNI goes 1-6, then wins 3 of the last 4. Also, I think UNI loses to Iowa State by one or two points. Based entirely off of karma, gut feeling, past results! :p

I also think that the MVFC is going to be just like last year, where some of our bottom teams would be winning autobids in other conferences.

Yup, we all realize. Did you miss the whole ordeal when USD was added?

There was a condition put in place by YSU, ISUb, ISUr, and either WIU/SIU but don't remember which that needed to be approved for them to vote for USD

You have a lot of faith in USD, ISUb and MSU if you are putting ? next to it. ISUb has to replace Parrish, who was their only offense. USD is USD and lets be real on that one. MSU is considerably worse than UNI top to bottom and also has a new coaching staff and new offense coming in.
It sounds like Sawyer is staying (thankfully) and is getting almost all the 1 snaps. Demos is no contact right now but is likely the only other QB to push for the starter this fall.

By the time we get to WIU things should be straight.

By the time we get to WIU things should be straight.

http://espn.go.com/ncf/recap?id=332922460 makes me believe that USD might beat UNI :p.

Either way, UNI is ****ed next season.

I'm sure you guys will be back in title contention in '16 or '17.
