ISU's pass coverage has left the middle pretty open so far, so the TEs are an obvious place to go. The Bison are usually strong at TE.

Everything about the 1st half, low score, pace, defensive emphasis favors NDSU. Doesn't mean ISU can't turn things around, but they need to get the passing game going, receivers have to make some catches.

I would look for NDSU to focus on running inside and pounding the ball to try to wear ISU down in the second half, with some occasional focus on throwing to the TEs.

Illinois State gets the ball first in the second half and needs Roberson to complete some passes to balance him and Coprich in the fairly effective running game. The first drive will be huge for the Redbirds to reestablish some momentum.
