Apparently Montana is set to hire Bob Stitt firm the D-II Colorado School of Mines

Sounds like a good hire for the Montana Grizzlies!

So Griz fans what do you think of the hire?

My thought is that you get a guy that has done very well in the RMAC and has a lot of experience recruiting in the front range area.

Pretty standard procedure there. Any AD/GM/etc. is going to deny everything until something is official. They don't want a Dave McGinnis/Chicago Bears fiasco.

An offensive minded coach seems to fit in well with the conference. Although I thought Montane was more defensive minded this year. So be interesting to see how it goes until his own recruits are in the program. Best of luck to the Grizz... Just not their first game next season when we make the trip out there!
