I'm trying to compile a list of the upcoming FCS stadium upgrades or new stadium builds. Does such a list exist? If not, can you throw a post with those that you know of in here?

I can't believe UNH would sacrifice a tradition like no other in the name of "progress". Sad day. Where else do you have to climb two ladders and walk a catwalk to get to the Offensive Coordinator box?

Abilene Christian Wildcat Stadium, part of a project that includes an adjacent track/soccer stadium. Could be ready by the start of 2016, but more likely 2017...the first year ACU is a full member of FCS.

ACU is building a new track/soccer stadium next to the football stadium. Separate facilities permit seats in the football stadium to be closer to the field than with a track around the field configuration. Track/soccer will be complete in time for 2015 season.

Our new president refuses to play there because it will be associated with the failure we had before. I applaud him for it.

Dartmouth was set to do this in 2009, but had to postpone because the economy crashed. Put a bunch of band-aids on the aging stands until the engineers told us they were at critical levels.

Harvard Stadium is having similar problems. They have been planning to renovate the Stadium for a while, but I'm not sure what the timetable is.

EKU is planning to replace metal bleachers on the visitors side with this. Design has not been finalized but tentative timeline has this starting after 2015 season. Before anyone fires back on the need for additional seating at Roy Kidd Stadium, this has more to do with game day experience than capacity.

The Mini Dome wasn't feasible when they had a program the first time. That was like playing football in an airplane hangar.

I'd rather see 6k in a stadium that seats 6500, than 6k in a 25,000 seat stadium. Upgraded stadiums doesn't mean more seats. However, the embarrassment of seeing that Auschwitz style coaches box on national tv should prompt the UNH fans to come off their wallets and donate enough money to build their new stadium three times over.

Here's a link to an article on CCU's plans: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/2014/05/02/4202975/ccu-one-step-closer-in-process.html

I skimmed it, but didn't see anything specifying more details than not Astroturf and similar to what other schools are doing.

I'd say Moglia had some input since it is being funded by TD Bank.

Chattanooga's Finley Stadium is getting their field turf replaced this year (should be in place before next years Spring Game) and then all the reserved chair back seats will be replaced in the next two years. All just general upkeep items. In the 5 year plan is a much large video board.

UNH already has the funding for their project. They are breaking ground immediately after this season and will build straight through next year. The whole thing should be done and ready for the home opener in 2016. UNH pulled 20M internally and raised 5+ million externally from donations in 2 months. While the new upgrade will only be capacity of 13k, there will be berm seating and a lot more standing room. There will also be room for further expansion but that's a friggin pipedream at this point.
