Florida A&M senior placekicker Chase Varnadore was awarded the Jake Gaither Leadership Award tonight, as presented by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club. Varnadore, a senior, has had an exceptional career for the Rattlers, notching the record for the longest field goal on Oct. 4, against Morgan State. Varnadore's 53-yard field goal broke a record held for 35 years by FAMU great Greg Coleman (52 yards).
