Three Ivy's in the Top 25. Isolation pays.

Wow. Just wow. I'd love to hear their justification.

It's all formula based - no credit for SOS within FCS. You get as much credit for beating NDSU in Fargo as beating Rhode Island at wherever they pretend to play.

There really isn't, the SRS it seems was completely ignored vs the GPI, Massey. It is a good thing.

FCS is full of isolated play among quality teams. Very few good OOC games in any conference.

The committee said they ignore the GPI, there's several links to interviews saying that. Not sure if Massey was specifically mentioned as well, but the GPI was mentioned by name as being ignored.

The SRS relies too heavily on win-loss vs quality of wins or SOS. I am completely happy with the selections this year. Even if they ignored the GPI, they did a good job.

The committee said they ignore the GPIWrong. There are certain committee members that do not respect an index like the GPI but "the committee" all received it. The NCAA can not acknowledge it because several computer systems in the GPI use margin of victory including Massey and Sagarin. In the past on the "Waves" program "the committee" chairs all said they used any available info including the GPI. xnodx
