UC Davis senior running back Gabe Manzanares was named the ROOT Sports Offensive Player of the Week after his career-high 230 rushing yards and three touchdowns helped key the Aggies' 48-35 upset road win over Cal Poly on Saturday in The Battle for the Golden Horseshoe, it was announced by the Big Sky Conference on Monday.
