Definitely tickets sold/distributed. I guessed there was about 38,000 inside the Bowl. The atmosphere at the game was very similar to a Yale/Harvard game. I was pleased to see the number of Yale students in attendance and there were plenty of Princeton fans who made the trip up. Outside of the final result, it was a very enjoyable day at the Bowl.....

According to Yahoo only 6,815:confused: :bawling: :eek: we only needed around 7500 to average over 10000/game for the year and I thought for sure we would get that, but with ESPN Game Day up in Hog Country...I guess several thousand decided to do that instead...xidiotx

If next week's Yale/Harvard game was in New Haven, there would easily be 60,000 in the Bowl. No question.

THE GAME,(I know, you guys think YOU vs. LC is THE GAME:)) is in Boston. For Y-H-P, one "Big Three" game each year is at home and one is on the road.

I heard you could get tickets for $6.xlolx And they still get just 2000-2500 fans to the game. It's sad really and I shouldn't be making fun, they've had a tough season. Sorry about that.

13,100 at MCGuirk. That's pretty good because Amherst-Williams, which always draws a big crowd was also played in Amherst today.

That probably cost us a couple thousand in attendance.

Yesterday's Yale/Princeton game also outdrew the I-A UConn/Pitt game going on just up the road in Storrs. UConn/Pitt drew 40,000.

Yes, my mistake. Rentschler Field is in East Hartford.

Not that it will really matter with the way the rules are stated, but it's interesting to note that I-A bound WKU drew 3,800 to the first home game after the announcement. They'll be fine meeting the requirement...there are ways to get around it, but that still isn't a good sign of a healthy program.

texas state set a new single season average attendance record at 12885. the previous record was set last year at 12875. so a whole 10 new people. it would have been 13000+ if we hadnt had the crappy 9000 turnout for the televised nicholls st game.

not bad for such a bad season though. i hope things keep picking up next season.
