So as some of you may know I have been off and on doing this for fun. This is a BCS ranking, but for the FCS schools. I know it is not used anymore by even FBS and some of you will point out how "bad" the system was. I maintain that it was a great system, and if they had kept it to pick the top 4 teams it would be better than their committee. There are flaws like anything, but still fun to look and I enjoy doing it. I have posted in the bracketology posts before, but figured I would start a thread this week.

This is the first week that NDSU has not gotten a complete 1.000

So here they are:

1
N Dakota St.
0.924

2
New Hampshire
0.905

3
Jacksonville St.
0.903

4
Coastal Carolina

5
E Washington
0.794

6

0.758

8

0.658

9
Northern Iowa
0.643

10
Fordham
0.604

11
SE Louisiana
0.559

12
Youngstown St.
0.447

13
S Dakota St.
0.420

14
Harvard
0.417

15
Montana St.
0.363

16
McNeese St.
0.356

17

0.339

18

Interesting to project the playoff field with this:

Autos
1 N Dakota St. 0.924 (MVFC)
2 New Hampshire 0.905 (CAA)
3 Jacksonville St. 0.903 (OVC)
4 Coastal Carolina 0.879 (Big South)
5 E Washington 0.794 (Big Sky)
8 Chattanooga 0.658 (SOCON)
10 Fordham 0.604 (Patriot)
11 SE Louisiana 0.559 (SLC)
22 Bethune-Cookman 0.195 (MEAC)
24 Bryant 0.140 (NEC)
NR Jacksonville (Pioneer)

At Large
6 Illinois St. 0.780
7 Villanova 0.758
9 Northern Iowa 0.643
12 Youngstown St. 0.447
13 S Dakota St. 0.420
15 Montana St. 0.363
16 McNeese St. 0.356
17 Richmond 0.339
18 Montana 0.268
19 Indiana St. 0.234
20 S Illinois 0.218
21 E Kentucky 0.205
23 Idaho St. 0.174

First team out would be Liberty. This would give the MVFC nearly half of the at large bids with 6 at large teams overall. The Big Sky would get 3, the CAA 2, and the SLV and OVC with 1 each. That would really ruffle some feathers outside of the MVFC.

After two weeks this may look close. I bet 1-2 MVFC teams fall out this weekend.

I really don't think it would ruffle any feathers PC. I mean if the MVFC got those teams in my mantra (at least) would be the same. Individual teams being compared against each other, all having mediocre seasons by playoff criteria, put themselves in a spot to need a lottery style pick to get in.

If it were to happen...fair enough by me. I really think if things fall right then there should be 4 fairly solid MVFC resumes and possibly a fifth but the 5th seems less likely.

Yeah this is normally what I would do in the bracketology thread. Thank you for doing this for me since I didn't have time earlier!
