Albany 20, Maine 13 - Albany goes on the road and wins this one. Albany will lose to most of the upper tier teams in the CAA, but I think they are better than Maine.
Delaware 35, Towson 10 - Towson's offensive line and QB situation are pretty dire. It is weird there is a lot of talent on this roster, but they are bad in all of the wrong places.
Stony Brook 20, Elon 7 - Defense travels well and Stony Brook has one of the best defensive units in the league.
Villanova 27, William & Mary 14 - Just like last week, I think William & Mary can slow the opposition down, but does not have enough offense to pose a threat. Villanova and New Hampshire are your clear-cut best two teams.
Richmond 30, Rhode Island 10 - Richmond carries over the momentum from last week.

I am surprised about the "low-scoring" aspect of some of these picks for the Maine game. Maine has a solid defense however, Albany has dropped 28 on both JMU and Richmond (and could have had more in both games). And, I believe Maine has given up over 200 yards rushing in each of the last four games? It's always a brawl up in Maine, and will be especially so on Homecoming, but I think Albany puts up 20+ in this game.

Albany @ Maine: Home team nod, Maine is better than their record and Albany maybe feels the season slipping away after 2 straight home losses.

Towson @ Delaware: My God, Towson is bipolar. A National Championship game run last year, and now... this?? Up until the complete and utter embarrassment in Harrisonburg last week, the losses were - other than WVU - all close and all in games they could or even should have won. But 62-7??? Against another FCS team??? Sure we lost a lot of talent, but the cupboard wasn't bare, or at least I thought it wasn't. Looking forward to 2015.

Stony Brook @ Elon: The offense is not really starting to "click" per se, but they're getting the ball in their playmakers' hands, and with that D, 17 or so points might be all they need in any given week. With Elon, URI, and Albany all winnable games still on the schedule, plus JMU at home, could 3-4 SBU still be alive for the postseason? Assuming they win all of those games, they'd be a win @ UNH (next week) away from 8-4, with a signature top-5 win. I say yes.

Villanova @ William & Mary: After last week's drubbing in Durham, I simply can't see any way the Tribe score enough to keep up with 'Nova. On a related note, should the Cats win this one, they will have an excellent shot at running the table in the CAA with Strauss now apparently out for a month. I can't see anyone beating them right now, or even coming close.

Rhode Island @ Richmond: Poor Rhody.

I grew up in Nothern PA, I know cold. It was a little bit of a tongue and cheek comment. If nothing else Maine is usually tough to beat at home regardless of weather, more so when the leaves fall....
