Guess the only way Nova is moving up is with a loss of someone ahead of them at this rate

Yes, it is nuts, Nova is borderline #1 imho. The same frustration goes for ISU-B. Their wins include an FBS and two Top 25 FCS teams. If they beat ISU-R this weekend, I expect Indiana to move up maybe two spots and ISU-R to drop about 8. xbangx

Just straight up lazy polling.

"yeah just give me same 1-8 again, they all won right?"

i assume there are 156 voters in this? Maybe they could make their lists public and we could rank their dumb asses.

at some point they need to just say "hey, we arent very good at this and we dont want to look at how things happened" "oh and we were WAY off last week but we think we have fixed it now"

Delaware got 34 ORV???

There is no way these voters pay any attention to the games. Shameful.

I've been watching FCS/1AA closely for decades and it has always been thus. No reason to expect the polling to be accurate. The fact is those in the NE know little about what is out west. Voters out west know virtually nothing about the CAA, while Midwest voters don't really know what is going on down south. At this point it is near impossible to 'know' how the #3 compares with the #1, or how the #3 compares with the #8. By late in the season the game results will drag the polling numbers towards a somewhat accurate picture of where teams belong. Don't lose any sleep over it.

Nova at #6 is a crime, just complete incompetence.

Richmond dropping 2 spots after a hard fought win at Liberty is pretty disappointing.

How the hell does the mvfc only have 1 team in the top 11? A league that Sagarin has rated as nearly the best non-power 5 and has pissed all over FCS competition this year and we only have 1 team in the top 11? Complete incompetence by the voters.

Because they don't want to admit they had teams in the wrong slots. They'd rather pretend they just had a team ranked too high than 2 teams completely flip flopped
just watch, ISUr beats us you guys go to 13 and we drop back to 22 or so. We beat you and we go to 17 and you drop to 19.

This happens all too often. Far too many think that the only way to move a team up or down is if they won or lost.

Also, I know I just commented this on another thread, but Towson receiving votes??? They haven't even lost to anyone ranked much less beat a ranked team! Furman too? Both Furman and Towson have tried so greatly to escape these polls. At least Furman has a decent loss.

It amazes me that UNH is #4 and lost to TOLEDO by 5 touchdowns and Villanova is #6 and they took Syracuse into double OT in the Dome. And, Nova is the 2nd highest rated FCS team in Sagarins. Unbelievable.

You should really take a look at the AGS Poll.
