EKU at home is just a 6-point favorite vs EIU? Any EKU injuries I don't know about? That line seems low.....

I would say that no one has a clue about EIU- 4 games that they most likely where going to lose, as they are down; and the Austin Peay blowout- they are the great unknown in the conference this year- they could be top 3 or middle of the pack- definitely need a Panther to answer that question

minus FBS games, have played SIU and ISUr better than anyone. Have over 400 yds of offense in all games except ISUr (385). Two loses are to FBS teams. Also their new coach should be settling in.

I think EKU can and should win this game vs EIU. But! EIU has played a stronger schedule than we have and their W/L record probably is not a reflection of what they are capable of. I understand they have their star RB back this game, and they were already putting out a lot of yards per game.
As far as EKU goes. We have some offensive weapons, but last week I was not all that impressed vs Austin Peay. However, that may due to being a little rusty from an off week and lackadaisical effort in the first half vs an outmanned Peay squad. Shot ourselves in the foot numerous times the first half while being inside the 30/40 yard lines with chances to put points on the board. We played much better the second half and then substituted when the game was out of hand, plus Coach Hood is not going to run the score up on anyone ( just his style). So, I'm really not sure even EKU fans know what to expect from the Colonels. This game "may" tell us more.
