I don’t really make predictions, but I’ve learned to enjoy reading others though.
What’s your picks.

Charleston Southern @ Liberty

Coastal Carolina @ Gardner-Webb

VMI @ The Citadel (can the Big South put another W up on the SOCON?)

I'm not big into predictions either but I expect to see CSU win a tight one over Liberty and The Citadel win over VMI.

Very funny, Dane96. We'll see what goes down int he coming weeks.

I see VMI stepping up to pull off the upset of El Cid.

CCU wins a shootout with G-W.

And its hard for me predict Liberty games ... but I like our chances.

BTW FlameFans has been down the past two days due to hosting issues in case anyone was wondering.

Wow, a lot of people feel better about Liberty this game than I do. Drafts is the only thing that scares me. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be worried.

Would someone from CSU explain why they felt they had to call and heckle our head coach on his call in show tonight? Coach Bennett was complimentary of Drafts and then your caller showed no class whatsoever...is that what we can expect from you guys?

I've learned over the years that the so called "acts of disrespect" shown by the other team are usually untrue. Such tactics are designed to motivate the home team.

Was it you Dabnus?:smiley_wi

Of course not. We would have to be stupid to add "fuel to the fire" for the other team.

Mostly a 4-3 with variations on the coverage.

Our coaches used to leave little message on the door of the field house making us think the other team was dissing us just to get us fired up. You will likely find that the call was someone associated with CCU football program and just what I described. Something to get the Chants fired up.

Mostly a 4-3 with variations on the coverage.

Thanks for both responses. I noticed when I was typing in the starting lineups for the paper that CSU listed three DLs, three LBs, two rover types, a safety and two CBs, hence the question.

Prediction:G-W is tougher than CCU thinks but 'cleers win
Bucs eek another one out.
VMI rolls up yardage but El Cid escapes.

Price had 13 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. In that photo, he's stiffing Jared Brogden, who became known as Liberty's "toast back" ... as in, receivers just toasted that guy all year long.

the Fake Citadel

That's one of the funniest nicknames for an opponent I've seen.

That and the Bellhops for the Citadel.

Don't put it past them. Course that may have just be subterfuge as well. I have seen them even go to a 4 4 stack varient at one point. Had the needed effect of forcing an offensive timeout that El Cid could not, at the time, afford to use.
