Yale doesn't get at least a single vote? That's wrong in my book.....Army is not that bad....they beat Buffalo pretty easily and should have won at Wake. Not powerhouses I know, but it's not like they are totally inept.

Damn't Typical. that is last week's poll with updated records. This happens on a roughly weekly basis. Don't look for the coaches poll until after 5:00 or so.

I still don't understand why UNI is so high on this list. They have done NOTHING. A loss to a very bad Hawaii team and a loss to Iowa, who BARELY snuck by Ball State. What gives them the right to be 10th?

Man, Coaches don't give ANY Cred FOR WHAT'S Done on FIELD, vs pre-season expectations. Indiana St. has the 2nd best MVFC OOC record, and they can't even break into the top 25?

Yale pulls the 7th pelt off a FBS program and aren't the highest Ivy? C'mon COACHES!!!

That's what happens when a team goes 1-11... If ISU can take down UNI which I think everyone agrees is going to be a great game, ISU will probably be ranked.

It's NOT the Coaches. Most of these polls are filled out the SID's. The Coaches don't have the time to do the necessary homework to make informed decisions like that.

I doubt Yale is looking to be ranked - and I doubt they care. I was just trying to put together a list of all the other undefeated FCS teams with an FBS win this season, which did not get a single vote.

I doubt they're impressed with themselves, either. But that's beside the point; nobody thinks Yale should be ranked.

But about that list . . . There must be a bunch of undefeated teams with FBS wins hovering down there around #75 - #80. Why are they so hard to find?

Well the computers which only take into account the current season and have no bearing on who what team is have us at 11 in the Massey Composite so we have obviously done something.

Why did you focus an attack on UNI when your real beef with this is that ISUb isn't ranked at all?

Hell look at some other teams. Why is Tennessee St ranked 20th? What has Youngstown St done to be 12th? UNI has done more than YSU. But yet you chose to focus on UNI...

How many FCS teams got to play the FBS team at home? Yeah that list only has Yale on it too...

But, let's be honest, if you're going to play Hawaii, much more fun to do it on the road.

Not untrue...however, Hawaii at home with, say, a noon central (7AM Hawaii) kick would be a HUGE advantage.

Just as a home game at 11pm Central time would be for Hawaii

I watched the game and felt that UNI got better as the game wore on. It looked as if they were wearing out Hawaii's starters. A few stupid mistakes early killed them. UNI was more physical and Hawaii took a large toll with regard to injuries. Just my $0.02

Fair Statement, I chose UNI because I felt as though they shouldn't be 10th. 20th? That's more fair. This list is still kind of going off of preseason rankings. UNI hasn't done anything yet to tell me they deserve to be that high. To agree, I think Tennessee St shouldn't be ranked. I haven't looked up anything on YSU though so I'm not going to speak onto something I haven't done research on. UNI-ISU game is going to be good. Just thought they might deserve 10th if they had beaten Hawaii or Iowa as both FBS teams are just average.

I think Hawaii automatically gets a 7 point advantage due to the time difference/environment...versus a normal 3-4 for home field advantage. Got to be tough, even for a central time team.

Is Towson that much better than Maine that they still get votes after losing at home to Maine but Maine doesn't get any votes???? This poll has ZERO credibility.

On a side note......there are way too many FCS polls to begin with and this one is the worst of them.
