Hopefully some of the roadies can take it next weekend so I can get back to the top. Brown might be called an 'upset' while the surprise is JMU over Albany (who had that at the beginning of the season?)

Brown - Two very bad teams, Brown just a bit better
Delaware -Two 3-1 teams, Delaware the tougher schedule and coming off a good win
Stony Brook - Stony Brook's D prevails
UNH - UNH takes to Elon in their house
Albany- I can't believe I'm saying this, but Albany goes to 5-0

They are banged up no more than any other team in football right now. Also coming off a game where the starters got a lot of rest. Would expect them to be very fresh @ Maine.

Villanova - Maine will surprise us a bit during this game but they're no match for, IMO, the pending CAA champions and NC contender. Maine has a fairly winnable schedule after this game so losing this one won't burn quite so badly.

Rhode Island - Brown lost to G'town in game one 17-3 but showed fairly well against a ranked Harvard program. URI hasn't showed us much but I think they'll step up to win this one 24-23.

New Hampshire - UNH is just too much for Elon. 47-13

Stony Brook - Take it from me, SBU is much better than their record shows. This is the battle of the FBS transfers...SBU wins 17-13.

Delaware - This is my trap game but UD will overcome a deficit to win 30-22.

James Madison - I think Albany will be ready for this CAA match-up but I just can't see JMU falling to 2-4 (0-3) and that is the only reason I'm going with the Dukes. BTW, if JMU loses this game, their season is over and Dukes fans will demand some terminations of contracts starting with the AD down to the waterboy.

Richmond - This should be a great game; place will be packed to see two excellent teams. UR wins but both teams play a physical game down to the wire.

As an Albany fan I would feel more confident if our QB play didn't scare me. The team thinks that they are good and that makes them dangerous. Clearly this will be the best team they have faced yet but from what I read and see JMU is banged up and not very sure of itself.

JMU has fielded breakneck defenses for years...this year's squad really needs to step up. It would help if your QB would settle into a passing game.

im looking for the unh game to be close until late third quarter. our offense is just not good. no one can explain it. and we are down to one scholarship running back after injuries to the others. the defense is not bad, if not descent.

i.e. not passing anymore. The JMU message boards have where we rank passing the ball in the FCS and needless of exact details, anything with a '1' and TWO other numbers does not sounds good. I see why GT liked him for the triple option...

But yes, defense is our problem right now. We don't give up 2 essentially 1 play TD drives and we MAY have won last week. Time to see if the 'Danes are for real and so is the season slipping away from the Dukes

Villanova @ Maine: After watching the Black Bears last week, they are simply too young up front and at the QB position to take down a legit top-5 team.

Brown @ Rhode Island: If Rhody can't beat Brown...

New Hampshire @ Elon: Elon is simply not in UNH's class right now.

Stony Brook @ Towson: It's the Battle of the Underachievers. SBU made the switch at QB and is finally - finally - getting the ball to their talented receivers, and mark my words, Bedell at RB will be all-CAA before his career is over. Meanwhile, the Tigers absolutely gave Maine a win last week, bumbling multiple opportunities to seal the win before - surprise, surprise - being exposed in yet another bad defensive alignment while giving up a long TD pass with 30 seconds left to lose the game. An absolute disaster. This should be a very close game, so my Tigers get the nod at home. Towson 23, SBU 20.

Sacred Heart @ Delaware: Sorry, still not buying the NEC.

James Madison @ Albany: JMU coughed one up last week, but Albany hasn't been tested yet. Upset of the week; JMU takes a close one on the road.

Richmond @ Liberty: Liberty is a solid team, but after getting thumped by ISU last week, I don't think they're in Richmond's class.
