Western Carolina opens the home portion of its 2014 football schedule on Saturday afternoon as it hosts mountain-foe, Brevard College, at 3:30 pm at E.J. Whitmire Stadium / Bob Waters Field. The first 5,000 fans through the gates on Saturday will receive a free "Prove Your Purple" T-shirt with purple and gold beads handed out to the first 10,000 through the gates.
