View Full Version : What nickname for the Jackrabbits?

When McNeese had a team that came from behind a lot, it was nicknamed the "Cardiac Cowboys."

South Dakota State has now beaten McNeese, Cal Poly, and UC Davis...late in each case after being down by double digits in the fourth quarter each time.

I'm drawing a blank on an adjective that'd work like "Cardiac" works with Cowboys above...but it has been some season for the Jackrabbits.

"Cardiac Jacks" is what is being thrown around in these parts. Actually, the '98 or '99 team also carried that label.

Remember the fluffy white rabbit from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". They remind me of him.

Death awaits you all with nasty big pointy teeth.

Luckily NDSU has has Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch in the locker room of the Fargodome.

That's fine by me, I'll settle for getting the lead early so we don't have to have a last second win. :smiley_wi

I would love for that game to be for the Dakota Marker and the GWFC Championship. That is a recipe for a sold out game.
