Griz recover a fumble (incomplete backward pass, the ISU WR just stood there). 4th and real short for the Griz, at about the ISU 20. Don't know what they're going to do yet.

That being said, MT's defense looks dominating!!! 16 yards total offense, with 5 minutes let. And ISU has the #1 rated offense in the BSC statistically, so that bodes well for future games against Cal Poly and MSU....xsmileyclapx xsmileyclapx xsmileyclapx

I swear, every game the defense gets put in situations with their backs against the wall...and they ALWAYS seem to rise to the occasion, just like here!

Idaho State held to a 43 yd fg...16-10 just seconds into the 3rd quarter

I feel like a broken record: every week, the game shouldn't be this close, but the griz just struggle closing out teams. 4 trips to the red zone in the first quarter net 13 points. Hauck and the OC need to go back to the drawing board.

Is there any doubt now how good UM's Defense is?

They just held the #1 rated BSC offense to 92 total yards. The 10 points were on two turnovers deep in MT territory.

If the offense could even click HALF the time, we're going to go DEEP into the playoffs. :bow: :bow: :bow: :bow: :bow: :bow:

It's funny, jon, but I felt like this game WASN'T in doubt. Yeah, the score was close, but barring a broken play, there was just no way ISU as going to move the ball. Great game plan by the UM defensive coordinators. :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

Sounds like a great D effort. Montana's D seems to be outshining it's O this year.

I was at the game, and witnessed one of the neatest things I've ever seen at Washington/Grizzly...

After the game was over, the Griz players went to their normal spot after a win, to sing the school fight song.

Everyone in the stadium that wasn't wearing orange & white, started chanting, (very loudly)...DEFENSE - DEFENSE - DEFENSE, to show their appreciation.

In all the years I've been going to Griz games, I've never seen, or heard anything like that. That made the Grizo VERY proud!
