9 verbals before August 1st including some very highly rated recruits in Minnesota.

Only FCS team I know of with more reported verbals at this point of the year is Fordham.

I wonder how this compares with recruiting in the 80's. That's really the only other era in NDSU football history where we can see the same kinds of success, though it was in DII - but on the other hand, DII was different back then.

Eventually, some day, it has to stagnate and backslide. The only way to try preventing that is to move up to FBS. But I just don't see where the opportunity would come.
