McNeese has only released a couple of hype type videos so far. One, that they used at the Southland Media Days a week ago and one they just released as a teaser for season ticket sales. I know they are working on the 2014 entry video. I think some of the teaser video might end up in the entry video.

I know this is not a video but I'm impatiently waiting the season. I went by the stadium last Friday and took some photos. One was a two shot panoramic photo of Cowboy Stadium taken from the second floor seating area of the Field House.

The way it looks is that one of them is the runner up trophy from 2005, and I have no idea what the football one is. I am not sure why they would put old trophies in a video where they are saying the future is now. I would think they would show what the actually championship trophy looks like but I don't know.

I wasn't a huge fan of the video, but it was the closest thing to a hype video we had so I posted it.

We don't do hype videos, in fact we have a large video board on our scoreboard, and it doesn't have cool videos, scratch that it doesn't show videos at all..............someday Skyhawk land will enter this century......maybe this year

I like it...it is playing on exactly what this season is.

That is our past. It's a very nice past, it is something to be very proud of, it's the foundation of the program. It's time to move past laying layers to the foundation, and that's what this season is going to do (hopefully).

I think it's a much more humble and workman like attitude, rather than the brashness that was around with Varmah Sonnie (who set an NCAA record for most s*** talking while recording the fewest stats and most personal fouls). Moving past the childish antics and into a phase of actually getting **** done.

Now, if you want to argue what Farley read should have been scripted better, I'd buy that.

Personally, I would have preferred less practice footage and more real game footage. The script could have been better. Lastly, someone other than Farley reading it. He isn't the best speaker and something about his drone voice really bothers me. That Hawkeye one was executed really well. I think the premise wasn't bad, but the execution on ours was a little lacking.
