Jeremy Moses

Position:
Assistant Coach (RB)

Experience:
3rd Season

Alma Mater:
Stephen F. Austin State (2011)

One of the most decorated players in Stephen F. Austin history, Jeremy Moses is entering his third season as an assistant coach for the Lumberjacks, working with SFA's running backs. The first player in school or Southland Conference history to win the Walter Payton Award, Moses has been a key member of the Lumberjack staff for the past two seasons, helping to mentor quarterback Brady Attaway, his former backup. Attaway closed out his SFA career by sitting second all-time in the Lumberjack record books in nearly every passing category, trailing only his mentor Moses.

Named to numerous All-America teams during his collegiate career, Moses rewrote the school and conference record books on his way to being named the NCAA FCS National Player of the Year. A two-time SLC Player of the Year selection, Moses left SFA as the NCAA's all-time leader in completions at the FCS level. He also became the first player in Southland history to receive the Walter Payton Award, an award given to the national player of the year.

Moses' biggest career highlight did not come in the form individual honors, but team gains. Moses was a key factor in helping SFA transform itself from an 0-11 program in 2007, to a top-10 team that won the conference title two years later. The following season the Lumberjacks rattled off another top-10 campaign and their second-straight conference title. It was the first time in school history SFA recorded back-to-back conference titles.

Following his playing career, Moses spent one season at North Alabama as an assistant on Terry Bowden's coaching staff. The 2011 SFA graduate is married to the former Jessica Miller.
