Hens look pretty good so far. A nice drive and a missed field goal and then a 56 yrd TD pass Flacco to Love. 7-0 UD

Richmond RB on his way to 80 yrd TD run, ball is punched out by UD defensive back at the three, goes through the endzone - touchback and UD ball.

No question. I'm surprised he didn't just go pro this past year instead of transferring. Didn't he already have his degree?

Delaware-----please beat Richmond up tonight. We'll take all the help we can get.

UD leads 14 - 7 at the half... looks like a defensive struggle at least since I've been watching....

Delaware's O looked great the first three drives - they came out throwing and seemed to catch the Spiders off guard. Since then, the Richmond defense has made adjustments and made the necessary stops. On the other side of the ball, the Richmond running game has come to life in the latter part of the first half. Delaware will have to pull some more surprises out of their sleeves in the 2nd half to win this game.

Richmond - long drive to open the 2nd half. 14-14. Hens look deflated - could be the beginning of the end for UD.

The missed FG on UD's opening drive is looking pretty big right now.

TD Delaware! 28-24 Hens with 40 seconds left. Maybe this team grew up some today? I guess we'll see...

I thought Delaware was dead in the water. It is the first time all year the Hens showed any gumption.

Most all the UR fans on their board were predicting a blowout but the game does not surprise me. A10 games are like this a lot...

Outstanding performance by Hen's QB Joe Flacco... passing for over 300 yrds vs a very tough Richmond 'D'.

For a guy with only a few starts he shows a lot of composure. He has a strong and accurate arm and seems to be very gutsy. It was a good game.... Glad I was able to see it over the web on CN8....

Flacco's performance was one of the best I have ever seen by a UD PASSING QB. It could have been better if Mirchaud actually hung on to all of the passes that hit him in the hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow: :eyebrow:

It appears to me that Joe did not let the dropped passes affect him. He just continued to play great.

Flacco's perfromance was one of the most gutsy Hen performances I have seen. My hat goes off to him. Great win for the Hens.
