I am sorry to whoever originally did this but you had not updated so I did, it makes for a pretty concise look at all of the division. Plus I added my playoff predict.'s. I am sure I made plenty of mistakes

I think technically they are eligible, but realistically they are not gonna get in, plus the whole last game of the season thing and the GIC thing.

another disclaimer I am not predicting ASU over Furman yet. Just 1 gets auto the other at-large

TealBlood, I was just about to post what I updated, but saw that you beat me to the punch (way to steal my hard work:cool: ). Don't worry about it, but if you dont' mind, I would like to resume my duties updating this list (thanks for your work this weekxsmileyclapx ).

I figured I broke the patent by adding the playoff scenario. And yea it was plenty of work.

Nah, it was a nice touch. Puts a more personal touch on the standings.

YSU fans are experts on this... Whoever wins the head-2-head matchup will get the Auto-Bid..

I love those rankings, I'd love to get the auto bid and stay at home throughout the playoffs!

So, the SLC is completely eliminated from an at-large outside of SHSU who can only lose to UCA (a Div II) from here on out to maintain a chance at the seven win plateau...

Since there is no head-to-head, they will look at common opponents and other tie breakers. Most likely would get down to record against D-I opponents, which would give the nod to UMass, since JMU played a D-II. Same thing cost JMU the autobid in 2004.

Dear expert,
What if they don't play each other?

JustToyin

I don't believe there is any standard formula for tie-breakers - each conference sets their own criteria. May want to check the A-10 site to see if you can dig anything up (if so, please post). It would be nice to see the tie-breaking process for all of the different conferences?

I definitely think the A-10 has a better chance to land 4 seeds this year than the Gateway. Could make for some very intersting geographic brackets (i.e. could be coming to Y-Town if we are fortunate enough to finish strong this year?!?).

Ralph, nice breakout of the records by losses for all of the various teams - however, we obviously can't discount 4 loss teams as of yet as conference auto bids may still be in play (especially, in the case of ties among multiple teams).

you need to remember that Charleston Southern could finish 10-1 and not be eligble (4 non DI's) so although not having the 4 losses still ineligible. Just a short look at your numbers CSU would be the only team that meets both extremes

just as long as Coastal gets sent to Furman. Let it all ride.

Go to page 3...outlines it...

basically after head to head it goes to record vs. common opponents in the conference, followed by a comparison of OOC wins/losses...
