Former Nova player JJ Outlaw has an outside shot to make it on the Lakers roster

The fourth-year veteran finished Sunday’s practice playing an alternating game of 1-on-1 against Lakers assistant coaches Mark Madsen and Larry Lewis as well as video coordinator J.J. Outlaw. Madsen won.

Outlaw comes from the next county (Wilcox County... Abbeville and Rochelle) west of my hometown, and there is a better than average chance his ancestors were slaves to my ancestors at the former plantation between Dublin and Wrightsville which was ransacked by Sherman's march.

Interesting side note... Outlaw and Auburn QB Nick Marshall were HS teammates in both football and basketball. They were some kind of good in HS in both sports.
