So I saw the final polls were posted for AGS and The Sports Network, but I don't see a thread anywhere for the coaches poll. So...

McNeese State three spots ahead of Jacksonville State? That's ... interesting.

They are the anti-UNI. I mentioned it in the media poll thread that UNI has a much better resume than MSU, but is ranked below MSU. Not just one or two spots, which a person could make an argument for, but it's more like 10+! I don't know how a person can rank MSU over UNI when looking at the # of DI wins, (7 vs 6) FBS wins (1-0), how they fared against playoff participants and the old eyeball test: MSU got worked over a couple of games. UNI did not. Voters might point to Denarius being injured, but won't give UNI the same benefit of the doubt.

That's nothing ... we beat McNeese at their place, 41-7, went undefeated in the SLC, with an average margin of victory of 25 points, and we were still ranked behind them in the final regular season poll. It took us winning a playoff game, and you guys beating them for us to finally pull ahead.

Most of these voters don't know how the team played. They vote on reputation.
