SHSU's Terry Runs For Three Touchdowns And 176 Yards

FRISCO, Texas - D. D. Terry carried 30 times for 176 yards including touchdown runs of three, one and 36 yards to lead Sam Houston State to a 37-7 Homecoming victory over Nicholls State at Bowers Stadium.
Terry's 176 yards rushing is the most in one game by a Bearkat running back since Charles Harris gained 215 yards against North Texas in 1993. A key to the victory were six turnovers forced by the Bearkat defense. Sam Houston State recovered five Nicholls State fumbles and Stanley Garrett picked off a Colonel pass.
