Rashad Jennings - 186 yards on 22 carries through two and a half quarters against William and Mary. Left in the third with an injury. Could've easily went over 200 for the day.

Redbirds...

1. O-Line-SIU barely touched Drone, he passed for 280, we rushed for 241
2. Kye Stewart, Cam Siskowic LBs-17 tackles and a sack for Kye, 12 tackles and an INT for Cam.
3. Redbird Receiving Crew-Horton and Jackson. 9 receptions combined for 233 yards and 2 tds. A game where Laurent is far from 100% and only had 1 catch for 23 yards.
4. Pierre Rembert. 139 yards is a standard game for him however, he averaged 7.2 ypc. He's Mr. Consistency and allows us to open up the passing game.

SIU
Arlee Whitlock...rushed for 144 however the Birds kept him out of the endzone.

Both Rembert and Whitlock are All-American candidates at RB...they are both SOLID! Rembert outplayed Whitlock today, but our O-Line had a big part in it.

266 yds, 10+ YPC, and 3 TDs vs a pretty good WIU team...got my vote

17 tackels...it is a lot, but I've seen Redbird LBs with 20+ on certain occasions. They are quick and do a great job getting to the ball. We are LineBackerU in I-AA in the past decade it seems...

One each from the RMU-CCSU game.

A weaker nominee because the stats aren't that sexy, but Colonials OLB Jeff Rommes had an interception (almost returned for a TD, but he tripped after 47 yards!) as well as 7 solo tackles and 11 assists.

Blue Devils RB Justise Hairston had 49 carries for 256 yards and two TDs in the loss.

I go with Mason, I watched some of that game and he looked good!

Let's hope another RB named Mason has a similiar performance here tonight. ;)

SHSU's candidate, should atleast be good for POTW honors in the SLC...

D.D. Terry carried 30 times for 176 yards including touchdown runs of 3, 1, and 36 yards to lead Sam Houston State to a 37-7 Homecoming victory over Nicholls State at Bowers Stadium.

Terry's 176 yards rushing is the most in one game by a Bearkat running back since Charles Harris gained 215 yards against North Texas in 1993.

Youngstown State-Mason, Marcus 20 rushes-266 yards 3TD's

Rashad was 80 yards less with a quarter and a half to go. It would've been interesting had he not gotten hurt.

The amazing thing about Mason was it was on only 20 rushes.

Ryan Callahan a Maine Freshmen had a 80 yard td catch on the 1st play of the game. He also added a 49 yard td run. He had 188 total yards.

UC Davis:

Ya I am 100% Behind Mason this week. He averaged 13 yards per carry, which is amazing!

He is also now the top Gateway back statistically, so I think, since Whitlock was 146 coming into this week, and had just 140 today.

On the year: 900 Yards exactly through 5 games!
180 yards per game!!!!

i gotta go with Luke Drone... against the #7 team he was 14-18 for 280 and 2 TDs...

if not him, then mason... only reason i pick drone over mason is cuz the WIU 'D' is known to be pretty bad and all.. hard to argue with a 13 ypc average and 3 TDs though...

as long as it's a gateway guy, i don't care!

So you think 14-18 for 280 yards and 2 tds is better then 21-27 for 303 yards and 5 tds?

Im not so sure about that... the A10 will have 3 maybe 4 teams in the top 10 coming out this week.

umassfan... The fact is this: ILSU's qb had that many yards vs. a #7 team.. Your guy got your's vs. a Towson team which may be #22... but isn't all that good.

My vote would be by decided by this: GATEWAY IS BETTER THAN THE A-10..

Maybe the 7th ranked team isnt all that good?

Will the A-10 have two teams in the top 5 this week? I do not think so.

I think drone deserves it. He put those numbers up vs a good southern ill team, mason put put those numbers vs a good team with a not so great run D. Go Gateway!

Who you play will not factor that much in who wins the POTW.

Yea man, DDT ran his ass off today. Great game for him and the Kats!:hurray:

30 attempts for 176 yards, that is a 5.86 avg yards per carry!

He should be heavily considered for POTW honors.

I still respectfully disagree. Mason rolled with 3 TD runs, 2 of which were 95 and 75 yards..

Drones also did a fabulous job all day vs. #7 SIU.

I'd give it to either or for the simple reason of the toughness and respect the Gateway has earned.

Don't get me wrong, what your QB did is great, but its hard to put up vs. Drones and Mason.
