Posting this a bit earlier than usual, but I'll be spending the day in Huntsville for Homecoming and the SHSU game against Nicholls St. Hope you fellas can hold up the fort on this, another beautiful I-AA gameday across the nation!

Games of note include the one I am attending between the two front-runners in the SLC at this point. Other marquee games include a Gateway showdown between #5 Illinois St and #7 Southern Illinois as well as SLC favorite McNeese St hosting defending SLC co-champ Texas St-San Marcos. On the east coast, there's #1 New Hampshire facing off against #13 James Madison (4-1) and #22 Towson hosting #8 UMass.

Yes, that's shaping up to be a Northwestern/UNH feel to it. But in mid-season, that's going to be a difficult one to pull. At same time, they do have 4 wins against four different I-AA conferences, plus Ball St. already.

Ya gotta wonder if any I-AA team could kick @$$ any better USD is, even with their schedule. They may not be proving they are a playoff team, but they can score at will against the competition they have now. Isn't that what we assume our teams could do?
