Jay Hill, an assistant at Utah, one of the special teams coordinators.

Did some work under McBride.

Obviously on Whittingham's staff during the Sugar Bowl year and known as a good recruiter.

We'll see how he handles a team. That's the biggest concern.

Seems like a good hire.

Sounds like a really good hire for Weber State. Did all of Sears's staff leave (include Pflugrad) or is Hill going to retain some? Probably too early to tell.

I'm curious about Pflugrad as well. Too good of a coach to not be on someone's sideline in 2014.

Maybe he would come be our OC!! :)

Same question as everyone else here. What was the story with Pflu etc.?

Baggage??????

Indeed Pflugrad comes with baggage (and he's a little bit insane)
But he can recruit and design an offense that is very hard to stop

We went with SUU's OC and DC (OC has history with Hill). I bet it was a mutual stabilizing effect for Pflugard and WSU. Now that the team is restaffing, Pflu is on his own again.

We kept Colton Swan, was the DC and WSU linebacker from 10 or so years ago. Not sure what exact role he'll have.
