Sad but true. The perception is that Georgetown recruits kids who didn't sign in February. In reality, because there's no letter of intent, the school can't actually offer admission to recruits until April, and by announcing names in February it runs the risk of losing them to other schools (it happens) and/or not admitting them in the first place.

That doesn't do much for program growth. Or Kevin Kelly's winning percentage, which is now below .300.
