Here's what AGS suggests for the at large selections:

1. (5) Towson
2. (6) Northern Arizona
3. (7) McNeese St
4. (8) Montana
5. (10) Fordham
6. (12) South Dakota St
7. (14) New Hampshire
8. (15) Sam Houston St
9. (16) Tennessee St
10. (17) Samford
11. (18) Jacksonville St
12. (19) Youngstown St
13. (20) Southern Utah

Teams just on the outside: (21) Chattanooga, (23) South Carolina St, (24) Northern Iowa, (24) William & Mary

Great job overall I think, will be interesting to see how it stacks up with the TSN and Coach's poll in predicting the at large pool.

I would be pleased to see those 13 get in, with the exception of SHSU. I'd rather see Chattanooga, SCSU, William & Mary, and even Liberty in ahead of the Bearkats. If Sam had beaten just 1 of McNeese, SELA, or UCA, I'd feel a bit differently.

Yeah, gotta agree but then again the beating of EWU and so forth means something to the voters and they really are about where they should be I think although maybe a touch high.

Not liking Princeton completely dropping out after losin to Dartmouth and winning eight in a row. It's not like it was Columbia.

Cool to see Pards get the vote but I didn't vote for them. If we were not coached to a loss vs Colgate I'd consider it.

I agree. A 4 point loss on the road to Dartmouth was not a bad one. Had Princeton played Lehigh a few weeks into the season, instead of week 1 for the Tigers, they would have likely beaten LU and had a chance to go 10-0 yesterday.

Dartmouth was a huge surprise this year. 6-4, 5-2 in the Ivy with 3 losses by a FG and the other in 4OT at Penn. They also beat Yale the week following their huge win at Cal Poly.

Missed: South Carolina St (23)

9 or 10 again for the AGS voters, not bad at all. And YSU has a very strong argument that they got Woffed for South Carolina St.

Good stuff, AGS. I think the way YSU lost down the stretch really hurt them. They were not playing good football going into the playoffs.

A great job on the AGS top 25. Only 3 teams in play-offs not listed are the less than great AQ's (Furman 7-5, Lafayette 5-7, and Pioneer champ, Butler, 8-3)

Otherwise, all selections in there, and especially for the at-large's.

YSU may have been Woffed. However, the dismantling by the Jacks and Bison showed that the Guins were not primed for a play-off run.

The ballot box has been reopened for those that did not get their vote in prior to the selection show. It will close at it's normally scheduled time.

After the games of Saturday, Massey's algorithm produced a top 9 which includes all 8 teams remaining in the hunt for the national title.
South Dakota State is the lone stand-out. He predicts that each of the home sides will win this weekend.
1. North Dakota State
2. Eastern Illinois
3. Eastern Washington
4. Towson
5. Southeastern Louisiana
6. Coastal Carolina
7. South Dakota State
8. New Hampshire
9. Jacksonville State

So, in other words, the committee and playoff selection criteria really did pick the best teams for the playoffs? Maybe not the top 24 teams, but we can certainly see both systems showed a solid top 10. Interesting. Maybe the playoff selection system is less broken than some think.

Central Arkansas Bears

That's fair. The bears had 20+ injuries, 10 season ending and team chemistry had to be rebuilt early on. By the end of the year they were able to get it together enough to give Sam a run. Now all those freshmen and RShirt freshman that played this year will be ready to go and begin the year with experience. Great news to know after this year that held so much promise!

Well I guess that makes getting bounced sting a tad bit less....not much though.
