Looking at the stats it also appears Indiana State is last in rushing defens (giving up over 300 yards a game) e- and with the RBs they face this year they will probably stay there :p

Noticed that Drake is highlighted, but they are not part of the Gateway. It is pretty impressive that 6 of the nation's top 23 I-AA RBs play for GFC schools. Very cool!

ISU Redbird RB Pierre Rembert is getting better and better each week that goes by. I look for him to make a serious challenge for the #1 I-AA RB spot before it's all said and done.

Sorry Chi Panther....just looked at the thread name again and noticed you put "and another Iowa kid". That would explain the Drake RB...my bad :o

We have a pretty decent back in Cooper but our OL is bad.

One of your O-linemen, can't remember the number tonight, looked decent. He was a little dirty, but always was going 100%... Now if the other 4 would at least look like they were trying...

Rembert is a stud....but with all due respect Arkee is the top back on this list IMO. As a Soph playing over Brandon Jacobs and the other Transfer from Minnesota.....also, think what he'd be doing this year IF his QB was Drone and had a wide out name Robinson.....

I think he's the Best GFC RB since Aaron Stecker.....

well, what IF Rembert had Robinson playing in all of the games... L-Rob only has played in 2 games and the 1st quarter of WKU...

i agree though, Arkee is the best back in this league followed closely by Rembert and Lerron Moore... mason and lewis aren't slouches at all, either... wow, a lot of good backs in this conference!

interesting note, Rembert is the only Gateway back to rush for over 100 yards against a D-IA squad... others got close, but didn't eclipse the mark...
