Sacred Heart and Robert Morris scored key NEC victories in Week 11 and dramatically improved their conference title hopes as a result.* Posting its second shutout of the season, SHU blanked Duquesne, 10-0, to knock the Dukes out of first place in the NEC standings. Robert Morris scored 47 consecutive points to pull away from Central Connecticut and move into the top spot of the standings, one-half game ahead of Sacred Heart. Saint Francis remained in the race with its 23-20 win over Bryant. Wagner dropped a non-conference contest against Outer Bridge rival Monmouth.
